Create a theme

Rosé Pine members encourage creativity and diverse interpretations of our limited palette for community themes. If you prefer a more structured approach with guidance along the way, we welcome official themes into the Rosé Pine GitHub organisation where the team will assist when possible.

Get started with our repository template as a base for your new theme.

gh repo create my-app --public --clone --template rose-pine/rose-pine-template

Use our build tool, bloom, to easily access our palette and include all three variants. Create a template from an existing theme file via bloom init <filename>.

Once built, you may submit your theme as an official or community theme. For official, we will invite you to the GitHub organisation for you to transfer in. This will automatically be added to the website. For community, your form submission is how we add your theme to the site. No further action is needed.
